Location and Transport to the Zeehan

Zeehan is a historic mining town in the
wilds of Western Tasmania, located 293 km north west of Hobart, 38 km north of
Queenstown and 155 km south of Burnie and 172 metres above sea level.
There is no large airport in the Zeehan
district, but there are several ways to get there.
There are sizable regional (but not
international) airports at Hobart and Launceston, and a smaller one between
Wynyard and Burnie. International visitors should probably transfer via other
capital cities, e.g. Sydney or Melbourne.
Various hire cars are readily available at
all the Tasmanian airports, or bus services are
available to Zeehan.
