Gemboree 2010
The next Tasmanian Gemboree
will be held over Easter 2010: 2nd – 5th April.
The site will be in Devonport,
northern Tasmania, Australia.
This is the principal gem and mineral
show in Australia, held every year in various parts of the country.

Campsites
Please note that powered
sites are not available at the Gemboree campground, but generators will be permitted.
Fossicking
Some official trips will be
organised over Easter (Gemboree 2010 Field
Trips form).
Some designated fossicking
areas in various parts of Tasmania will be available anytime, for gems and
minerals.
Anyone wishing to fossick in
Tasmania, outside the designated fossicking areas, is advised to obtain a Prospecting
Licence from Mineral Resources Tasmania.
